What

The process analysis offers you the possibility to evaluate the frequency or the total duration of the marked event according to the Pareto principle based on the process label you have assigned.

The Pareto Principle, also known as the "80/20 Rule," states that approximately80 percent of an effectis producedvia 20 percent of the causes. [Source:https://pareto-prinzip.net/]

For what

With process analysis, you can easily track down the "time guzzlers" in your production processes. It thus provides you with clear options for action for optimizations in the production process and helps you to save time and money.

How

Open the Process Analysis menu in the smartblick dashboard.

You will see an automatically generated overview of the registered process labels and their distribution.

Using the filters criterion, operations, period and machines you can now evaluate the data relevant for you. The output adapts according to your selection.

With a click on Export as CSV, you can also further evaluate your results in Excel, for example.

smartblick weights the results according to the above-mentioned Pareto principle and shows you an assessment of the analysis made.

In the example below you can see the result of the following query:

  1. The total duration
  2. of the three processes downtime, setup time, warm-up
  3. in the period Monday 29.11.2021 6:00 - Monday 06.12.2021 6:00
  4. for one machine
  5. the process downtime is in the vital area (according to Pareto therefore very interesting for you)

The process analysis also offers you the possibility of a detailed view of each recorded process.

Simply click on the process label that interests you - and you will be redirected to the view of the respective machine.
